🚨🇺🇸 MARINE ACCUSED OF STEALING JAVELIN MISSILE SYSTEMS AND 2 MILLION ROUNDS OF AMMO FROM CAMP PENDLETONA 23-year-old ammunition technician allegedly treated the base armory like his personal inventory. Stole Javelin anti-tank missiles, sold them in Arizona.Javelins are "fire-and-forget" systems that can punch through heavy tank armor from miles away. The same weapons the U.S. sent to Ukraine to stop Russian armor.Investigators recovered at least one missile system and some ammo. But roughly 2 million rounds of M855 rifle ammunition may still be unaccounted for.Over two weeks, he allegedly stole and sold 66 cans of ammo. Only about a third has been recovered.He's facing conspiracy, theft, embezzlement of government property, and possession and sale of stolen ammunition.
