Three months before his capture, the CIA had already infiltrated his regime to the core and this was an open secret throughout Venezuela. Some of his high ranking echelons were promised huge amounts of dollars if they ensured a smooth US capture of Maduro.
Sadly, those promised money never received a penny after months since Maduro's capture.
On the night of US special operation to capture Maduro, Venezuelan military commanders had ordered all missiles defence systems be disabled and most infantry units were ordered not to respond against US forces bombardments.
Only a handful Palace guards and some Maduro's loyal security men engaged in fighting US forces for four good hours.

If MOSAD had deepened its hands within the IRGC, toppling the regime would have been an easy ride on Iran but this will never happen as long as the IRGC exists.
