Mehdi Farid was convicted of high treason and extensive collaboration with MOSSAD, after the Supreme Court upheld a death sentence for leaking classified intelligence to Israeli agents.Mehdi Farid as the former head of the Passive Defense Committee at a sensitive state institution, Farid allegedly used his high-level security clearance to transfer critical data through encrypted electronic channels.
Investigators stated that he was recruited online by a Mossad handler and provided full confessions detailing his communications and the specific national secrets he compromised.
