About
19th century bulls Pizzle whip
We are proud to offer a late 19th century bulls pizzle whip, with bone hand. This item is made from a bull’s penis. The whip would have been made from stretching the penis and leaving it in water to expand naturally. Once at full length the item would have been left to in the sun to dry and then customized to the farmer’s needs. It was used to move cattle around the farm, the scent of the bull’s sizzle whip would scare the cows and thus allowing the farmer to move them around more effectively. A unique piece due to its hand carved handle.
